2025 Main Street Blooms

Noelle and I would like to thank everyone involved for making Main Street Blooms 2025 a huge success. There were 38 stores that participated, and 51 GCMD members created beautiful, clever, and very thoughtful arrangements, as they relate to each store they interpreted.
We followed NEH Main Street Stroll to the NEH Neighborhood House and a Fun Men’s Challenge Class. Member’s husbands and significant others entered with 10 entrees. There were 15 men, some teaming up. They were to bring a boot of their own and all were very clever. One was a pink burlesque boot! Flowers were donated by Noni Sullivan, Ruth Colket, and Noelle Wolf. Decor was provided by Anna Woodward, Noelle Wolf, and Boo Stroud.
A lovely potluck of hors d’oeuvres were brought by club members. Cocktails were provided by Noelle Wolf and Anna Woodward, and Julia Utsch. After the judging by Freddy Shaw was complete, a cocktail party for Main Street with the merchants and GCMD Membership was enjoyed by all. The food that members brought was gobbled up as they viewed all the entrants.
Thank you, Garden Club of Mount Desert members. You all did such a fantastic job! It was enjoyed by the Community all weekend.
